Mi Casa, Tu Casa Finale
Last weekend, the run of “Mi Casa, Tu Casa” came to a close. It was an incredible three weeks and I feel so blessed to have worked with such a great cast. Working for all of these people at Luna Stage has been an amazingly positive experience. I grew so attached to the cast and all of the production team, and I will miss them all so very much. They are all so talented and gifted, and at the same time so open and generous with their gifts.
Not all productions are like this- a lot of us have had our share of experiences with egomaniacs and competitive cast mates. But this was not one of those experiences. I can honestly say that I felt supported and encouraged every step of the way.
It was so great to share my craft with audience members as well. The style of the show was very intimate and interactive. I felt as though each show we did was a gift to the audience, because we allowed them to take a trip “down memory lane” and to relive some of their childhood experiences. The stories that we shared were ones that a lot of them could relate to, and the songs that we sang were familiar and warm.
If you did not get to see the show this year, I hope that you will get to see it next year!!
